What happens if an organization subscribed to an OpenAIRE service becomes an OpenAIRE member? How does that affect billing and payment?

For accounting reasons, once an invoice is issued, no fee changes can be made for the current subscription year. We recommend organizations interested in becoming OpenAIRE members do so in advance to receive a 30% discount.   

For multi-year agreements, any changes to fees, like membership discounts, will apply at the start of the next billing year. If you've already paid for the current year, the discount will be applied to the following year once membership is confirmed.
